Nothing But Blue Skye: MMD Interviews Dakota Skye

When Dakota Skye decided to broaden her horizons by becoming a porn star, it was an instantly perfect match of career and cutie. She’s already scored a sensational number of covers, including this week’s new release She’s So Small. This Tampa, Florida native and star of Digital Sin‘s upcoming Meet Dakota Skye chatted with Men’s Mag Daily about life as a porn newbie.

On how she got into the industry:

I started off as a webcam model actually and I started doing that as soon as I turned 18. I waited a while before I got into the actual porn side of it in terms of making movies. It was something I always wanted to do so I started looking for an agency. I found East Coast Talent and I really liked them. I signed with them and I was with them up until I got with Mark Spiegler about two months ago.

On her pre-porn jobs:

I actually used to work at Wal-Mart and I also worked at a retail store in the mall.

On nerves before her first porn shoots:

I wasn’t really nervous or anything and I think I was kind of prepared for it because I had done webcam for a while. What was weird for me is when I started to get really well known. It’s so weird for me.

On getting recognized:

Yeah I’ve had a couple of people that have recognized me. It makes me really uncomfortable. Well, maybe not uncomfortable but nervous because I’m not used to it at all. I come from a really small town where everybody knows everybody so I’m definitely not used to it.

On explaining her popularity:

I look young and I play that innocent girl role really well. Also I’m really good at what I do, I think.

On her future in the business:

I’m not sure I want to be performing for the rest of my life. I definitely want to be in the industry though. I’d like to direct or own an agency.
